How often do you actually really taste your food?

Most people eat far too quickly to be able to taste every flavor in the food in their plate, which also makes their digestion work overtime to cope with the sudden excitement. By chewing each mouthful slowly, everything will not only taste better, it will digest better too. Your appetite will be better foul and satisfied too.

Also, there is not much to taste if you cook the life out of your food.

Stop boiling or cook your vegetables until the go sere. Swap your cooking techniques to make them more al-dende and you will get more flavors, not to mention the nutrients. Grill, steam or stir-fry them using unsaturated fats (like olive or sesame oils) for more healthy meals.

Is kundalini yoga dangerous? It’s a question that comes up now and again because there’s a lot of misinformation out there about the potential dangers of kundalini yoga. One of the core misunderstandings is confusion between kundalini energy and kundalini yoga.

Kundalini energy is a life force energy that resides in every human being. It is an extremely powerful energy and remains dormant in most people throughout their lives. However, though conscious intention or through a spontaneous event, kundalini energy can be awakened.

The core benefit of awakening this energy is an increase in consciousness. Through this, people can experience clarity and find their life’s purpose, feel extreme states of bliss for prolonged periods of time, and have an increase in awareness and being present. Some of the dangers of awakening kundalini energy, for those who aren’t prepared can include feelings of instability, mood swings, and physical discomforts including hot or cold flashes, headaches, etc.

Kundalini yoga is a branch of hatha yoga developed to prepare the body for activated kundalini energy. It includes very specific kriyas (a series of yoga exercises), breathwork, and mantras to prepare the body for activated kundalini energy and to allow the body to integrate the kundalini energy. Kundalini yoga is more focused on kundalini energy, than some other yoga forms because it is specifically intended to integrate the energy.

Kundalini yoga is widely considered to be one of the best things you can do to prevent a kundalini awakening for an unprepared body.

If we say that having a kundalini awakening experience, for an unprepared body is like plugging a 1000 watt lamp into the wall. Then in this given example, Kundalini Yoga acts as the adapter to ensure there are no negative side effects to awakened kundalini energy.

It is important to recognize that all forms of yoga are essentially helping to awaken kundalini energy. This increase in consciousness is one of the primary goals of most yoga and meditation practices. Kundalini energy is a powerful force that should be approached with consciousness and respect. Kundalini yoga should not be confused with kundalini energy. Kundalini yoga is one of the best things you can do to ensure your body and mind are well prepared for awakened kundalini energy.
