Most people eat far too quickly to be able to taste every flavor in the food in their plate, which also makes their digestion work overtime to cope with the sudden excitement. Stop boiling or cook your vegetables until the go sere. Swap your cooking techniques to make them more al-dende and you will get more flavors, not to mention the nutrients. Grill, steam or stir-fry them using unsaturated fats (like olive or sesame oils) for more healthy meals.
